"integrity challenging," post.
It has been shared many thousands of times.
Mostly targeting progressive audiences.

Their commentaries consistently condemning
President Trump for what they perceive as racially motivated discrimination and even legal harassments.
But what should we consider when we see a post like this?

The boy's feelings and his background story?
The mother's concerns and her purpose in posting?
Or our need to confirm our own biases?
Even when our biases ignore their messages.

In my opinion, his message is about misuse of power
and victimizing others through harassment.
Yes, this boy was a victim when he was harassed
and intimidated by the bully.
But this was not done by Trump.
It was not even by Trump’s border policy.

The threatening talk he heard truly was abusive.
It was a manipulative distortion.
Not an accurate reflection of any truth.
It disrespected both President Trump.
And all migrant communities.
Most significantly, it disrespected the boy.
Most likely the bully was motivated by
jealous anger over loosing the game.
But a similar disrespect for their message
goes much farther.
That day this boy was bullied by a peer.
But today his pain is magnified by adults.
Some of whom willfully disregard laws,
and intentionally foment divisions,
and even incite crowds to bully others.
Just like the bully did to him.

For their cause.
His humiliation a useful tool.
And his suffering a thing to be exploited.
It feeds the, “activist,” need to place blame.
And justifies acts of self righteous retaliation.
Like those we are seeing in many of our streets.
Not Peaceful nonviolence.
But multiplied victimizations.
And confrontational landscapes of chaos.
Even lethal escalations

that managers abdicated civic responsibility
to the raging mob declaring
a new Autonomous Zone.
We saw this before.
In the "mostly peaceful protests,"
that destroyed many of our beautiful cities.

What Trump provided was, so much faster, so much safer and so much kinder!
